Skills required: Oracle 10/11. SQL & PL/SQL. Java. Linux. Shell scripting.

Responsibilities

As an Oracle Developer / DBA your responsibilities will be to design, implement, and deliver the best possible scalable solution as part of the Idiro product suite.

You will have the opportunity to be involved in all aspects of the development lifecycle, to determine the requirements and define specifications for new functionality for our products and consulting assignments.

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Development of software components based on specifications and in line with standards
• Unit and system testing of software components
• Problem analysis and fault correction of pre-release software
• Involvement in the analysis and design phases of the software development life cycle
• Development of technical specifications
•  Status / progress reporting against agreed plans and schedules

Skills Required:

Ideally you should have experience working with tools such as SPSS Clementine or other relevant data mining/ statistical software as well as the following:

•    Ability to deliver strategic business results using data mining.

•    Ability to understand and deliver on customer expectations.

•    Exposure to telecoms, gaming and/or utilities industries desirable.

•    Strong written and verbal communications skills.

•    Highly motivated to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

•    Application of statistical and data mining techniques to business problems.

•    Provision of insights and development of strategies for campaign management.

•    Customer segmentation strategies

•    Driving the understanding and application of social network analysis to business problems..
